HD television technology makes ultra crisp picture resolution possible by using more pixels. Similarly, High
Definition lenses offer the ultimate in clarity by making each wearers prescription highly accurate at every point on the lens surface. Ordinary lenses can’t match that degree of prescription accuracy.

Curve Management
Our precise management of the front and back curves of High Definition lenses creates very low degrees of tolerance. This precision produces highly accurate power in every part of the lens, creating sharp and clear vision for the wearer.

Position of Wear
The position of the lens in relation to the eye can have a marked impact on central and off-centre viewing
performance. SOLA HD Technology provides for full optimization of each wearers back vertex distance
pantoscopic tilt and lens wrap angle measurements to ensure the most accurate power for their chosen frame
and its relationship to their eyes.

Design Performance
HD technology incorporates the progressive design into the back surface of the lens, locating it closer to the
eye. Unlike regular progressive lenses, HD Technology ensures near perfect recreation of the target design for
each individual wearer’s combination of sphere power, cylinder power, cylinder axis, add power and frame
dimensions. The result is large and wide areas of clear vision with the lowest level of unwanted astigmatism.
